We are looking for a Community & Operations superstar!

We’re looking for a Community & Operations Coordinator to help run our boutique CoWorking space on the Hibiscus Coast!

This role is perfect for someone with hospitality or front-of-house experience who naturally creates welcoming spaces, while also being interested in marketing, sales and community growth.

You will be the face of CoastLab in the mornings:
greeting members, keeping the space running smoothly, and helping create a warm and professional atmosphere. At the same time, you will support new member enquiries, trial days and help promote the space to grow our community.

This is a part-time role (18hrs/week), Monday to Thursday mornings, with a little remote admin each afternoon.

This is a 6-month maternity cover with the possibility of becoming a longer-term role.

Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday approx. 8:30am–12:30pm (onsite)
• approx. 30 mins remote each afternoon to manage inbox
• $35/hr contract
• Start date end of March / beginning of April 2026

Key Responsibilities

Community & Member Experience

  • Open and prepare the space each morning.

  • Welcome members and visitors and ensure a friendly, professional environment.

  • Build relationships with members and foster a positive community culture.

  • Onboard new members and host trial days.

Operations & Space Management

  • Ensure the space is tidy, organised and running smoothly each day.

  • Manage meeting room bookings and desk availability.

  • Oversee kitchen, supplies and shared areas.

  • Coordinate maintenance or suppliers when needed.


Marketing & Sales Support

  • Respond to new member enquiries and coworking bookings.

  • Help convert trial days into memberships.

  • Assist with simple marketing tasks such as social media updates or newsletters.

  • Support promoting CoastLab within the local community.


Administration

  • Manage the CoastLab inbox and respond to enquiries.

  • Support membership administration and record keeping.

  • Maintain booking systems and internal documents.
